Pregnant Participant Services

Pregnant Participants receive a monthly visit from a nurse. The nurse will talk with each participant about their pregnancy and will individualize services to meet their needs. The nurse is available to answer questions, assist in finding a medical provider and help with any health topics. To speak with a nurse, please call 218-281-0534.
Pregnant Participant Services are designed to promote healthy prenatal practices, answer questions, and assist in finding resources and a primary doctor for the participant. The nurse is the only health staff that can register and complete pregnant participant visits; other staff may be utilized for translation. Services include:
- Prenatal services
- Curriculum based programming
- Postpartum depression screenings
- Toolbox for new dads
- Family services
- Mental health
- Nutrition services
- Parent activities
- Volunteer opportunities at the local center
