Early Learning Scholarships

NEW! State Early Learning Scholarship

New applications for Early Learning Scholarships are now available for eligible families. We encourage all eligible families to participate.

Each of the applications posted are the most current and may be used to apply for a scholarship.  Families that applied in the past but were not awarded must apply again for this new season of scholarship funding.  Awarded children do not need to apply again.

Eligibility requirements for applicants as of July 1, 2021.

  • Resident of Minnesota
  • Have at least one child that is 3 or 4 as of September 1, 2021, (younger siblings are also considered when they attend the same program as the 3 or 4 year old)
    •   OR  a younger child with a parent under 21 and seeking a GED or high school diploma
  • Have an annual gross income no more than 185% of Federal Poverty Guidelines
